Judy Moore is the owner and founder of Taking Stock™, LLC.  After living through the Northridge earthquake and its aftermath in Los Angeles, Judy saw firsthand the need for a service to help people be prepared before a disaster strikes.  Taking Stock™ was founded in 2005.  “We believe the Taking Stock™ Home Inventory System provides a simple and highly effective way for people to document their belongings,” says Judy.  “You will not get a fair settlement from your insurance company without proof of what you own.”  

A native of upstate New York, Judy is a former professional ice skater and also worked for many years as an assistant director in the Hollywood film industry.   She has a BA from Binghamton University and an MPA from Cal State Northridge and currently lives with her husband in Mesa, AZ.
